This was a difficult contest to judge. All of the stories that were submitted were great and touched Dotty and I in various ways. So with that said I am very happy to announce that the winner of the March Birthday Contest is......

Happy New Year to everyone! It has been a slow end to 2007 and a rough start to the '08 year for us here at home (except for Dotty). I came down with some wicked viral infection that was giving me a high fever and the chills. Now Serena has come down with it and we are trying to cope with it and each other!
In the meantime Dotty has abandoned her scheduled appearance on Dick Clark's Rockin Eve in New York to spend time with us. She has told us that we owe her big time, though. It seems that Sir Richard Branson has invited her to spend time in the Bahamas with him on his private island. Lucky dog.
In the interim though, she has been giving us lots of affection and not leaving our side for anything! She really is the most loyal and affectionate dog that anyone could ask for. We are truly blessed.
I will be scheduling a photoshoot with her for more photos towards the middle of the month. I hope that you all enjoy them.

The Holiday Season

The Holidays are upon us and lo and behold we are going broke trying to buy gifts, fighting off crazy buyers in malls and searching for the ever elusive perfect parking spot at the mall. Dotty is almost fully recovered from her surgery and although the scar is healing rather slowly it is healing nonetheless. That said, I want to wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa, and Merry Christmas!
The new Holiday stuff is just going online at www.lovethatpug.biz so we hope that you have a chance to see them all!

Dotty's Surgery

Well the worst is over. Dotty's surgery went well and the biopsy results indicated that it was a grade 2 mast cell tumor. Which means that it isn't cancerous but that we need to be very mindful of her and just feel her up when we can. Serena and I can't thank everyone enough who kept Dotty in their thoughts and prayers. She is our "baby" and very important to us. I want to especially thank all of our friends from the San Diego Pug Meetup for all of their kind words and advice. As first time dog owners we needed all the help we could get.

Last but not least we would love to thank Dr. Clifton and all of the staff at the Hillcrest VCA Clinic. They have been so kind, informative and PATIENT with us over the last 3 1/2 years. We consider ourselves lucky to have such a great crew on Dotty's team.

As for The Dotty, she was pretty groggy after the surgery and was acting like a drunk frat boy falling asleep sitting up in the car on the way home, getting her swerve on! But we couldn't help but feel for her with that sad little face and eyes and such a terrible looking scar. We'll let the photo speak for itself. Until next time! See ya soon!

Welcome to out new Blog and information site. Here you will be able to keep current with all of the latest Dotty the Pug information, as well as find out what new products are available on her website. We will also have plenty of fun contests and giveaways from time to time so check in with us often.
For all of you who are curious as to how Dotty is doing after her surgery, she is doing ok. It was a tough surgery for her and unfortunately she has a rather large and unattractive scar. She is healing well and we are hoping that the scar will be covered by her coat when it grows back. We are anxiously awaiting her biopsy results and hope for the best.
As far as new products on the Love That Pug website, we are quickly in the process of promoting her new movie Canines of the Caribbean with all new products. Look for them soon!
